Whether applied to cartons, pallets, containers, or returnable assets, logistics labels must withstand physical stress, environmental fluctuations, and high-speed handling while remaining legible and scannable throughout their lifecycle.

Label materials used in logistics are engineered for durability, print clarity, and adhesive reliability across a wide range of substrates—from rough cardboard and shrink wrap to smooth plastic and metal surfaces. These labels often carry critical data such as barcodes, QR codes, tracking numbers, and routing instructions, making their performance essential for automated sorting, inventory control, and last-mile delivery.

Depending on the application, logistics labels may be printed using direct thermal, thermal transfer, laser, or inkjet technologies. Materials must support high-resolution printing and resist smudging, abrasion, and fading during transport. For returnable packaging and reusable containers, labels must also accommodate thermal transfer printability, edge bleed resistance, and clean removability without leaving residue.
